Buncombe
County is a community where neighbors care for one
another. For more than 86 years United Way has been changing
people's lives by bringing together thousands of different
people to discuss problems and identify solutions to our
community's most pressing needs. United Way unites individual
gifts of time and dollars to support a broad array of programs
that help those in need.
Because of your help, the 92 local programs that receive
United Way funding, and the thousands of community volunteers
that participate in every aspect of United Way, make Buncombe
