Retirees are an important and vital part of the Buncombe County Community. United Way partners with local retirement communities and with individuals to raise a significant amount of money each year to support local services.
Physicians, Dentists, CPAs, Attorneys, Realtors, Architects and many other professional groups pull together to support United Way. Many contribute as Leadership Givers.
Small businesses owners can make one gift that pays off dividends -- in the number of people helped, the number of lives changed and the recognition that your company will receive when you get involved with United Way. Consider becoming a member of The Peaks Society. If you are the principal owner of the business, your corporate gift may qualify you for membership.
