Conversations With Community Leaders

Register for Conversations With Community Leaders on Eventbrite

Conversations With Community Leaders is an intimate conversation facilitated by today's business and community ambassadors with Asheville and Buncombe County's emerging leaders. The groups are intentionally kept small, allowing networking and learning opportunities for all guests.

United Way is focusing on the building blocks of a good life for everyone: education, income and health. This series of conversations will touch on each of these.  Space is limited so register now.

As you register, you will be prompted to choose from one of three sessions:

Health: "Emerging Youth and Family Issues"
Paul Vest, President & CEO, YMCA of Western North Carolina
6:30-8 p.m., Monday, April 26

Education: "Education, Our Community's Commitment to Success"
Dr. Anne Ponder, Chancellor, University of North Carolina Asheville
5:30-7 p.m., Tuesday, April 27

Income: "Achieving Sustainable Income in a Volatile Economic Environment"
Dana Stonestreet, President & CEO, HomeTrust Bank
6-8:30 p.m., Thursday, April 29

Contact Victoria McDowell at 239-1046 or vmcdowell@unitedwayabc.org to learn more about these events and how to join Highlands Circle.
