What a night with our Leadership Givers!
"We are here to celebrate your leadership. Not just because you wrote a nice big check (thank you very much for doing that though). What I'm talking about is how you've stepped up to the front of the line and also offered your voice and your connections and your wisdom." Heather Goldstein, Van Winkle Law Firm and United Way's Peaks Development Committee Chair
As you can see from the images above, the 2016 Leadership Giving Reception was a great success. We sincerely appreciate your time, fellowship and your generous support in strenghtening our community. A big thank you to our sponsors Northwestern Mutual and Dixon Hughes Goodman for giving us the opportunity to raise a glass and honor our most loyal supporters. Thank you for Living United!
Additional thank you to:
- Highland Brewery (event space and beverages)
- The Moon and You (music)
- HomeGrown (food)
- Colorful Palate (food)
Back To School Supply Drive
As Michelle Bennett mentioned at the event, the Back to School Supply Drive is currently underway. Last year we distributed 1,350 fully stocked bags and we'd like to exceed 1,500 this year. You can be part of helping make going back to school a positive experience by purchasing and stocking a new backpack for a child. Not only are you eliminating a challenge for a low-income family, you are enabling a young student to start the school year on a more level playing field.
