Western Carolina University Social Work Interns Supporting our Work
Every year, we're grateful for the support, insight, and energy of interns who help keep so many aspects of our work running smoothly as they learn the intricacies of our partnerships and programs. This year, we had three incredible interns joining us during their studies at Western Carolina University while completing their Masters of Social Work field placement.
They supported three of our Community School Coordinators at Asheville, Enka, and Erwin Middle Schools, navigating the transition from virtual learning to hybrid to in-person. They assisted in student mentoring groups, assets and needs assessments, engagement markets, and resource rooms amongst other projects. We appreciate their hard work and dedication in supporting our community and wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors.
