Donations of Goods

If you or someone you know is interested in donating goods, neighborhood and mutual aid groups are all working to distribute resources to the community.

On a larger scale and for a more long-term response, Asheville City, Buncombe County, and United Way are working to set up systems to get goods to our most vulnerable communities through our local partners.

We will let you know when the site is operational again later. Supply pickup by agencies, schools, and community groups is still happening at the site. 

Small Donations 

Operated by The City of Asheville

Drop-Off Location, Hours of Operation, and Site Details

  • Harrah's Cherokee Center 87 Haywood Street at the front door
  • 9-5, Seven days a week
  • This site is mainly for smaller donations in Class 1 vehicles -cars, pickups, vans, and small box trucks. 

Two Additional Sites added: 1298 Patton Ave and 2215 Hendersonville Rd

 

Accepting

Small donations include non-palletted water, nonperishable food, personal care items, infant care, pet food, disposable plates and utensils, clothing, and cleaning supplies, including buckets. 

Not Accepting

Items requiring refrigeration or flammable liquids
