After two and a half years as our first Director of Major Gifts, Ben Moser will be leaving us to serve as President and CEO for United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley in Columbus, Georgia.
While here, Ben helped grow our Tocqueville Society, adding 25 new members and raising over $250,000 to launch our community school strategy in the Owen District.
"I'm grateful to have helped garner the resources needed to establish Community Schools in our community. This strategy will redefine public education in our country, not because it is so ingenious, but because it is so simple, so intuitive and so common sense. It positions schools as the center for wholistic support of students, families and communities. Why would we do anything else?" said Ben Moser when asked about the impact he's had.
