Sponsored by Mission Health, Days of Impact is an annual two-day event
conducted by United Way's volunteer center, Hands On Asheville-Buncombe that empowers
local companies, organizations and individuals to build a stronger community through volunteerism.
Every year, hundreds of individuals representing local businesses and organizations come out during Days of Impact to take action and address critical community needs through volunteerism. This year was no different, with 460 volunteers representing 39 local businesses and organizations helping on 36 different projects located throughout Asheville and Buncombe County. United Way's volunteer center, Hands On Asheville-Buncombe is fiercely committed to the idea that volunteers are the driving force behind community change. We are also continually awed, humbled and inspired by the willingness of this community to roll up their sleeves, dive in and get the job done. See Gallery #2.
