On Friday, March 27, 2020 the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES Act) passed and was signed into law as an additional layer of economic relief from the federal government during the COVID-19 epidemic. The CARES Act builds on existing pieces of legislation, providing further support to individuals and small businesses.
