Enka Middle's Resource Room Revamp was an enormous success, thanks to Retire United's dedicated efforts! With a staggering 64.5 collective volunteer hours, you transformed the space into a clean, cozy hub for students, community partners, and Ginny, the Community School Coordinator. Your impactful work demonstrates the power of collaboration and community involvement.
This endeavor holds special significance in advancing our Bold Community Goal, ensuring every Asheville City and Buncombe County student graduates high school fully ready and prepared to pursue their goals and dreams. The Resource Room serves as a crucial space for group meetings, essential resources, and the coordination of community school activities. Your participation not only beautified the environment but also facilitated meaningful connections and strengthened community bonds.
Your commitment to sorting, organizing, cleaning, and resetting the Resource Room lays the groundwork for the grand opening of the NEW School-Based Health Center and the upcoming Spring Career Fair. Together, we've created an inviting space that fosters student success and supports the aspirations of our youth. Thank you for your enthusiasm, dedication, and for making a positive impact on the youth in our community!
