Welcome to our first vlog of the year. This week we're talking all things 2-1-1 with Amanda Bauman, Director of the NC 2-1-1 Asheville Call Center. Amanda provides us with a quick update on the vital services being provided by our Call Center, the people being impacted in our community, and the incredible Specialists who make it all happen.
Speaking of which, today is 2-1-1 Day! Every year on February 11, we honor the work of 2-1-1 as a resource meeting the community's needs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. From assistance with food and affordable housing, to tax support, United Way's trained 2-1-1 Specialists are available to help. Today we recognize and celebrate this amazing resource and the inspiring people working tirelessly to connect our community. Thank you for the tremendous care and compassion you provide!
