Eaton Corporation and General Electric hosted their annual golf tournaments again this year with great success.
GOOD CORPORATE CITIZENSHIP
On may 9th, Eaton hosted its 16th annual golf tournament at the Cliffs at Walnut Grove, with a sold out field of 120+ golfers participating.
Not to be outdone, on September 8th, GE hosted its 3rd annual GE Aviation golf tournament at the Omni Grove Park Inn, with 130 golfers hitting the links.
These two manufacturers continue to champion the culture of good corporate citizenship by creating innovative methods that allow their employees to give back to the community.
United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County would like to thank Rick James and Javier Garcia from Eaton and Will Hager and Eric Nicolino from GE for helping to put these events together. And to all who participated — THANK YOU!
Corporate partnerships play an integral role in helping to shape a long-term vision and the ultimate creation of a prosperous community for all!
