Fall 2020 Community Engagement Markets

Since the onset of COVID-19, Community Engagement Markets offering free curbside food box pickup three times/month have been taking place to support community members with additional resources. A partnership amongst our organization, Buncombe County Government, and MANNA Foodbank has ensured these staple no-contact markets are accessible and spread throughout the county at Enka Middle, Erwin Middle, and Isaac Dickson Elementary School.

Market Schedule + Additional Resources Through 211

In addition to these three monthly markets, we've compiled a list of free food resources throughout the county in partnership with Buncombe County Health and Human Services, which can be accessed HERE. We also encourage you to give our Community Resource Specialists a call at 211-- free, confidential, with translation available to help you navigate access to additional community resources closest to you.

Community Engagement Market Schedule:

Enka Middle School: First Tuesday, 5-6:30 p.m.

Erwin Middle School: Second Monday, 5:30-7 p.m.

Isaac Dickson Elementary: Third Tuesday, 1-3 p.m.
